Bakanlıktan yapılan açıklamaya göre, Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü Kaçakçılık ve Organize Suçlarla Mücadele (KOM) Daire Başkanlığı ekiplerince sahil şeridindeki illerde baskı, cebir, tehdit ve şiddet yöntemlerini kullanarak turizmi olumsuz yönde etkileyen mafya tipi organize suç örgütleri ve bu örgütlere silah temini sağlayan suç gruplarına yönelik 16 ilde eş zamanlı “Müsilaj” operasyonu başlatıldı.
Mafya tipi organize suç örgütlerine göz açtırmayan KOM ekipleri turizm sezonu öncesi sahil şeridindeki illerde operasyonlarını artırdı. Turizm işletmelerini zor kullanarak çalıştırdıkları, devlet büyüklerinin adını kullanmak suretiyle şahısları dolandırdıkları, karşı çıkanları tehdit ettikleri, suç örgütüne maddi menfaat sağladıkları, sahte çağrı merkezleri aracılığıyla dolandırıcılık yapan organize suç örgütleri tespit edildi.

KOM ekipleri harekete geçti. Adana, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, İstanbul, İzmir, Mersin, Muğla, Yalova, Artvin, Giresun, Ordu, Samsun ve Zonguldak olmak üzere 16 İlde sabah saatlerinde eş zamanlı 13 organize suç örgütü (ulusal suç örgütleri ile bağlantılı suç örgütlerinin de aralarında bulunduğu yerel suç örgütleri) ve suç örgütü kapsamında aranan şahıslar ile bu organize suç örgütlerine ruhsatsız silah temini sağlayan 17 suç grubu hakkında toplam 315 şüpheli şahsa yönelik MÜSİLAJ kod adlı operasyon başlatıldı.
Operasyon kapsamında Suç İşlemek Amacıyla Örgüt Kurmak, Örgütün Faaliyetleri Kapsamında Yağma, Tefecilik, Tehdit suçlarını ve söz konusu örgütlere silah temin ederek 6136 Sayılı Kanuna Muhalefet suçunu işlemek suretiyle kamu güvenliği ve barışına tehdit oluşturdukları tespit edilen şüpheli şahıslara yönelik gözaltına alma işlemleri devam ediyor.

KOM ekiplerince geçen yıl turizm sezonu öncesi yerli ve yabancı turistlerin yoğun ilgi gösterdiği sahil şeridi illerinde ve turistik diğer şehirleri kapsayan 8 ilde eş zamanlı Sahil Rüzgarı, yine geçen yıl 9 ilde Sahil Rüzgarı- 2 ve 30 ilde TIRPAN kod adlı eş zamanlı planlı operasyonlar gerçekleştirilmişti.
